The easing of lockdown will bring with it the ‘new norm’ in property development and estate living. The way in which estates are designed and developed will have to change in order to accommodate this, while also showing the market that developers are doing what they can to futureproof estates. Developers are also rethinking the way in which facilities and other estate components will be designed and incorporated going forward, and proactive developers will make ensure that they are ahead of the curve by introducing elements that will be relevant and essential in 5-10 years’ time.
